AA Ireland partners with Intelligent Motoring to enhance the vehicle ownership experience

Intelligent Motoring has been selected by AA Ireland to create a new digital platform that offers its members and the motoring public hassle-free access to its approved service, maintenance and repair (SMR) network.

New digital garage connects motorists with approved service, maintenance and repair experts

Intelligent Motoring has been selected by AA Ireland to create a new digital platform that offers its members and the motoring public hassle-free access to its approved service, maintenance and repair (SMR) network. Recognising the importance of delivering digitally-driven experiences supported by human-led interaction, the new platform is underpinned by Intelligent Motoring’s best-in-class customer contact centre.

By drawing upon Intelligent Motoring’s successful online workshop trading platform, AA Ireland is offering motorists immediate access to an AA Appointed Garage to book either an interim or full AA approved service for their vehicle. Any additional work required and identified by the garage during the service is relayed to the customer by a technical expert from the new AA Ireland contact centre, operated by Intelligent Motoring. Customers benefit from being updated by SMS and email on the progress of their car at every stage, digital service history and repair records updated, and trade discounts given on repairs.

The collaboration not only sees AA Ireland meet the ownership expectations of its member community and the motoring public, but also drives incremental revenue to its network of AA Appointed Garages.
