Demonstrating its commitment to providing the best possible experience on newly leased vehicles, Leasing.com has partnered with MotorEasy to provide car protection and workshop services, including cosmetic and alloy wheel insurance, car servicing, repairs and MOTs.

The joint marketing and affiliate relationship will see Leasing.com and MotorEasy’s parent brand Intelligent Motoring, provide best in class services to all Leasing.com customers.

The partnership with Intelligent Motoring is the latest of several collaborations which Leasing.com has made, aimed at making the lifecycle of leasing ownership as easy as possible for customers. Keen to protect the appearance of their vehicle and avoid end of lease damage penalties, leasing customers will be especially interested in the cosmetic and alloy cover which allows them to make up to six cosmetic repair claims per year, while alloy cover allows up to four claims per year.

Commenting on the contract Duncan McClure Fisher, CEO of Intelligent Motoring said, “Cosmetic and alloy insurance are the perfect complementary products to sell alongside a new car lease. From as little as £5 per month for alloy and £7 per month for cosmetic insurance, a car owner can insure the appearance of their vehicle without risking their no-claims bonus or incurring a hefty excess fee with their main insurer. Given how common it can be to scratch your car in the supermarket carpark or scuff your tyres on a pothole or kerbside, it’s a highly cost effective way to safeguard your car’s appearance.”

Half of Leasing.com customers take out four year leases, so an MOT is required for the fourth and final year of the lease. ,The comparison website felt it was critical to provide customers with an MOT and repair service to ensure safe and legal motoring at all times. It chose to partner with Intelligent Motoring to deliver this based on a combination of consumer value for money and flexibility in service delivery via its MotorEasy offering, as well as its focus on customer service, reflected in MotorEasy’s high positive Trustpilot ratings. Service delivery was especially recognised in the quality of MotoryEasy’s claims handling and vehicle repairs team, who manage bookings to a 10,000-strong nationwide network of workshops via a call centre.

Leasing.com’s overall objective of providing a carefully selected suite of motoring services is to improve the appeal and experience of leasing a vehicle via its website. One of the reasons for choosing MotorEasy, however was its high sales conversion rates, based in-part on MotorEasy’s data-modelling and cross sell procedures across its extended range of products and services.

Paul Harrison, Chief Partnerships Officer at Leasing.com said, “Leasing.com is well established as THE car leasing comparison site. It's important to us that our customers find all the transactions associated with leasing a car, throughout the lease lifecycle, to be as easy as choosing a new car lease through us. Intelligent Motoring’s MotorEasy fits the bill as the right solution to provide a first class and cost efficient range of key aftersales services.”
