Jim Murray Jones, Chief Marketing Officer
25-years experience across automotive marketplaces and media, including leadership roles at Auto Trader, Haymarket, TNT Publishing, News UK and DriveTribe
Jim was appointed Chief Marketing Officer in 2020, where he leads a team focused on audience and brand development. He also works alongside the Technology function, overseeing the digital user experience, as well as commercial units responsible for developing business partnerships.
He began his career as part of the launch team at FT.com, before a series of senior positions for automotive classified, finance and media companies. In 1999 he joined Auto Trader, where he directed product strategy, editorial and business intelligence during a defining period of business growth. From there he further cemented his automotive and digital media experience, through leadership positions at Newsquest, Haymarket, News UK, RBS and DriveTribe.
Jim has an MBA from Henley Management College and a BSc from the University of Reading.
