Our Digital Garage and Direct Marketing channels allow us to target partner products to the right customer at the right time. Alongside IM-owned solutions, they help to support a "cradle to grave" set of motoring products.

Partner and MarketPlace Products

Intelligent Motoring has joined forces with a number of carefully selected business partners to extend its suite of “cradle to grave” vehicle lifecycle solutions beyond its 11 proprietaryworkshop, warranty and insurance products.

Partners are selected on their ability to provide IM customers with genuine value and choice, where possible offering an additional discount or bundled offer that can be surfaced behind the logged-in sections of our Digital Garage. In every case, care is taken to ensure all partners meet Customer Duty standards and, where required, FCA regulations.

In several instances, partner products are chosen as an additional option to sit alongside IM or MotorEasy solutions. This inclusion of competitor products is designed to instil a greater sense of consumer trust and choice, while making the IM digital garage and/or web site more convenient and comprehensive.   

Data-driven targeting

Partner products are introduced to customers through a mixture of IM web site and marketing channels, including:

  • Dedicated sections or pages on
  • The Market Place area within our digital garage
  • Through our network of motoring partners
  • Targeted email marketing
  • IM social media handles

As a business we have a particular ability to use our data to target communications to the right customer at the right time. For example, tyre tread depth or brake-wear, captured at a service or MOT, ensures replacements can be offered at an appropriate interval. Similarly, the value and term of vehicle finance, captured during a GAP insurance quote, helps to target new car offers at customers before they start their next buying journey.

With each product purchase or enquiry, IM builds a rich and detailed picture on car owners and the broader automotive market at large. Furthermore, the walled-garden nature of our digital garage and direct marketing channels, enables offers to be contained and targeted at specific buying groups.
